She Said “Tea Time with Suno”

Wedges are most certainly my cup of tea, mes chèrs. Pourquoi?

Simply, wedges are the complete package. They give you height and comfort. And these Loeffler Randall “Estrella” platforms from the SUNO collaboration are no different. The wooden wedge measures approximately 5.5-inches and the platform with leather sole measures around 2.2-inches. These wedges are stacked, and I have to say I am crazy about the satin upper. Though I questioned the look at first, the finely-detailed abstract floral print is ‘cool, calm and collected’ (in the blue colour story), and reminiscent of my grandmother’s tea sets. Whether you’re at brunch, afternoon tea, or work, these wedges will stay classy (…San Diego).

She Said “Woodsy”

You know those designers that light up your little fashion heart upon hearing their name? Nicholas Kirkwood is one of mine.

Hearing that Kirkwood was doing a shoe collaboration with Rodarte – another of my favourites – makes it all the better. This Spring/Summer 2011 “Woodsy” heel is one of the results. I mean, GASP. When seeing this ‘in real life’, it became an instant must-have. A shoe spectacle that has the most comfortable, chunky heel in the world. Wouldn’t you fall in love with someone if you saw them in these?

She Said “Hiss”

I was ten when the obsession with Marc Jacobs began. Eleven years later, I am consistently inspired by the brand – using a lot of it in my own work as a stylist.

The above makes it impossible to dislike their python, red/”Pit Cosmo” velvet sandals. With a 4.5 inch round wooden heel, two bronze python straps at the front and a wrap-around python ankle strap with a snake head. The snake even has a red leather tongue and yellow crystal eyes. Colour pop, anyone?

She Said “Snow”

I get it, Facebook updates. The US is currently in a Snowpocalypse. Guess I should help my more Western shoe addicts, eh?

With the omnipresence of Uggs, chic winter footwear can be quite a challenge. Thankfully, Belstaff have designed these light-gray leather boots with a 1-inch stacked wooden heel, distressed finish, burnished-silver hardware, two adjustable buckled straps and simply pull on. You’re welcome.

She Said “Sandals”

As much as I adore my heels, there are certain occasions where they just won’t work. As I’m two weeks away from moving to Thailand, I am on the search for the perfect beach shoes.

While these Pedro Garcia sandals are steep at £450, they are the type of shoes that would perfectly accent a tan while protecting me from sand nasties. The tan leather is equipped with an open toe, a slight wooden heel, a designer logo-embossed sole, and silver crystal embellishment on satin criss-cross straps. Totally worth the dineros, right?
