She Said “Scalloped Sale”

Just in time for Spring, these suede scalloped-edge sandals from Lanvin have hit the 50% off sale at Matches.

If the scallop-cut details aren’t enough, these pink espadrille wedges will win any vintage fashion lover‘s heart with their adorable side buckle fastenings and suede uppers.

Dream Springtime outfit pairing? This dress.

She Said ‘Plexi Perfection’

While ‘nude’-coloured heels are praised all around Fashiontopia for their leg-lengthening benefits, nothing can get them as universally ‘nude’ as being completely see-through.

These Valentino Naked Rockstud wedges are the best way to do so, in my opinion. These four-inch heels are constructed from a comfortable plexiglass wedge heel adored with Swarovski crystals. While the sole and insole are leather, even the slingback strap is made from transparent PVC. Bella.

Jennifer Lopez in Giuseppe Zanotti: Harpers Bazaar

“I’m a singer. I’m a dancer. I’m a performer. I’m an actress.” For Jennifer Lopez, all her world’s a stage (on which to wear some amazing shoes).

Gracing the pages and cover of February 2013′s issue of Harper’s Bazaar, J Lo wears a killer collection of heels. The bondage-esque selection include these Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator boots. From Zanotti’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, these knee length heels feature a sculpted wedge, gold-tone bars, and a rich black suede.

Offset by a bright yellow mini dress from Balmain S/S 2013, this look is total luxe on Jenny From The Block.

She Said “Reva”

With a red heel, two things come to mind: Dorothy and Little Red Riding Hood. Red, as an accessory, is always a good choice.

Jean-Michel Cazabat obviously got the message, being the designer behind these crimson Reva Mary Jane Wedges. The 4 inch wedge is beautifully sculptured, and the thin ankle strap keeps the shoe from looking heavy. The rich suede certainly doesn’t hurt things, either.

She Said “Penny”

These babies have dream shoe status for petites and comfy heel-lovers alike.

With a platform and gorgeous curved wedge heel, the Penny heels from Terry de Havilland are a heel you could dance in all night now. Featuring a colour duo of black and gold, the transversal strap makes for a gorgeous fit and asymmetrical silhouette.

She Said “Javi”

Me? I love a good deal. I also happen to love wedges, so seeing them for 70% off is a double whammy.

Designer footwear for less than £30 is something of a fantasy, but these Sam Edelman Javi sandals at Shopbop are definitely for real. With a canvas cutout wedge, this 4.75-inch heel (covered in kidskin leather, might I add) is a style steal.

She Said “Wedge The Hell”

Love them or hate them, wedged trainers are one of the most prolific trends of the year.

I happen to love them, and have found myself searching for more and more. My current favourites are these Bowie” wedge sneakers (if you’re American, at least) from Ash. They are comfortable – even with a 3-inch heel – and the leather, suede and sand-colour combination make a beautiful pair.

She Said “Regina”

When it comes to outfits, it is hard to outshine a great red dress. Charlotte Olympia‘s latests, however, are making it look easy.

Olympia’s “Regina” sequin-embellished wedges have the perfect red beads to work with a dress of the same colour. Also embellished with sequins, the wedge is chipped at the front which gives the heavily-decorated shoe a lighter appearance. When you’re working with a 6.2-inch wedge, this almond-shaped toe and exposed buckle trio are a great way to get yourself a pair of statement shoes!

She Said “Tchad”

Though they are the most comfortable heel to wear, wedges sometimes run the risk of looking a little heavy.

Diane von Furstenberg‘s Tchad wedges avoid doing so in flawless fashion. The wedge is decorated with braided raffia which climbs up the entire back of the shoe, elongating the leg. With a rose-gold padded vamp strap and a buckled ankle strap, this is the sexiest shoe Diane has made this season – hands down.

She Said “Knotty”

Without even being 3 inches high, these heels have me lusting for a closer look. Welcome to the fashionista’s version of flats.

Pierre Hardy‘s knotted wedge may be only 2.5 inches high, but it is a perfect way to colour-block your way to easygoing and denim-friendly chic. The knotted multi-coloured suede makes these wedges one artisan pair.
