She Said “Juliet”

The great thing about so-called ‘seasonal trends’ is that they are never seasonal. Florals are here to stay, baby, and end-of-season sales means you can now afford more than ever before!

Take, for example, these alice + olivia Juliet platform wedge sandals are a whopping 50% off. A bounty of painted flowers mark the Alice + Olivia sandals in a strong patent leather while straps cross at the vamp and buckle at the ankle. The walkable wedge heel is almost 5 inches high with a 1.75inch platform and leather sole.

She Said “Pink Lining”

Because I have tassels on my everyday handbag I try to avoid wearing tassels anywhere else*. Overdose hazard and all.

For this pair of Vanessa Bruno metallic leather sandals I may make an exception (we can change a handbag, after all). These fuchsia-hued shoes have a 4.5-inch heel, a round open toe, and a tassel-trimmed lace-up fastening that leads to a thin ankle strap. Even better? They’re on sale.

*Mind out of the gutter.

She Said “Doria”

If you’re looking for a way to get over your Monday blues, I’m going to have to suggest these baby blues.

These Seventies-inspired platforms from Robert Clergerie are a breath of fresh air. The shoe is crafted in a beautiful premium leather and features a chunky wedge in its continuous duck egg hue. The perfect way to have 365 days of Summer.

She Said “Penny”

These babies have dream shoe status for petites and comfy heel-lovers alike.

With a platform and gorgeous curved wedge heel, the Penny heels from Terry de Havilland are a heel you could dance in all night now. Featuring a colour duo of black and gold, the transversal strap makes for a gorgeous fit and asymmetrical silhouette.

She Said “J.W. on SALE!”

The likelihood of finding designer shoes for under £100? Quite unlikely.

That is what makes these J.W. Anderson stilettos (for ALDO Rise) so amazing. The leather “Eakins” stiletto-heeled sandals were part of a designer collaboration with ASOS and are now down from £125 to £37! These delicate heels and their feathered panel are a once-in-a-blue-moon sort of steal!

She Said Mirror Mirror

As much as I thought I wanted silver shoes, these copper beauties have caught my wandering eye.

Even better, they’re on SALE! These Boutique 9 “Orra” mirrored pumps are a fabulous four inches high, feature a pointed toe, and – of course – are crafted in our beloved d’Orsay style.

She Said “Javi”

Me? I love a good deal. I also happen to love wedges, so seeing them for 70% off is a double whammy.

Designer footwear for less than £30 is something of a fantasy, but these Sam Edelman Javi sandals at Shopbop are definitely for real. With a canvas cutout wedge, this 4.75-inch heel (covered in kidskin leather, might I add) is a style steal.

She Said “Kosi”

I really wish Jessica Simpson could be a less talented shoe designer. One flashback to the days of Newlyweds and all I can think of is buffalo wings.

Until I look down to my shoes, that is. The chilli pepper-coloured Kosis are a great example. With a 5-inch patent leather heel and a generous platform, they work strappy sandal sex appeal without the stiletto pain. The perfect way to femme up some jeans, and they’re on sale!

She Said “Bowery Booties”

Viva la booties! Well, at least Rachel Bilson and Sarah Jessica Parker think so.

Both fashionistas have been spotted in these 3.1 Phillip Lim Bowery Hair Calf Booties (cough which are on sale at Bergdorfs cough). In addition to leather lining, the frontal hair is dyed in the style of a pheasant mane. The best part – a 6 and 3/4-inch python print-covered plastic heel – extends all the way up the back of the heel with the help of a platform at the base. The toe box is unusually perfect for Lim.

She Said “Hideousity”

What. In. The. World?

When you love two things (like Rick Owens and Gilt Groupe), you wouldn’t be crazy to expect the two things could come together nicely. Unfortunately, this theory has yet to be proven. Look at these sold out $6500 monstrosities; they aren’t even worth the $299 sale price! Labelled as boots, but I don’t quite believe them.
