She Said “Darcy”

Animal print has always been a delicate subject, for me. While most prints channel ‘Real Housewives’-level desperation, animal print works beautifully on the right shoe.

Take, for example, the Darcy heels from Nicholas. Done simply in black and white leopard print, these chunky 4.5-inch cow skin heels look as sleek as animal print possibly could.

She Said “Jude”

Another day, another credit deficit. (BUT THESE ARE IN LEOPARD PRINT!)

That’s right, I’m getting animal-print-rageous with Tory Burch‘s new calf hair pumps named “Jude“. Why? The tiny, black suede island platform is adorable. Why again? The gold designer plaque on the heel is one of those rare embellishments that will steal anyone’s attention. Why again again? No more questions.

She Said “You Animal!”

At times, animal print looks like it belongs solely on street corners. So, how do we werk it without ‘working it’?

Via Emilio Pucci, of course. These animal-print suede and calf hair sandals from the designer are the perfect fashion alternative to zebra-printed pleather thigh highs. With black suede and black python-effect panels, these 5 inch heels with stud embellishments help you up your wardrobe’s ante.

She said “Hampton Chic”

It’s time to eat my words. Though the infamy tied to my name is that of a flat shoe-hater, I am truly obsessed with these penny loafers.

The caramel and coffee Brian Atwood animal-print, calf hair beauties are the ultimate in easy, Hampton chic. I can imagine wearing them with a lightweight, chocolate-coloured tank tucked into crisp, cropped white trousers. Seaside Spring/Summer beauty (and at least there is a 0.5-inch heel!).
