She Said “Jazmyn”

In addition to flourishing my musical teenagehood, I have to give Gwen Stefani some additional props for bringing these sandals into my life.

Her label L.A.M.B. has released these sexy Jazmyn sport sandals into the shoemosphere, bringing colourblocking to a whole new level. The 4.5-inch sky blue stiletto heels feature snakeskin and perforated leather alongside patent piping accents on the straps. Buckle ‘em up, babes.

She Said “Vampanodo”

There has to be something pretty special to distract me from their red sole, but these Louboutins have done it!

In fact, the red sole of the Christian Louboutin Vampanodo 100 suede and sateen sandals are almost an afterthought. The dainty 4.5-inch heel balances flourishing twists of soft blush sateen alongside a tactile black suede. The ultimate girly-girl heel.

She Said “Primavera”

The Olympics are almost over. It’s about time I found some heels with interlocking rings.

Oscar de la Renta has gone for the gold (puns ahoy!) with his Primavera‘ booties. These 4.5-inch suede and pointed-toe shoes are embellished with a cutout patent-leather cuff of rings, making them perfect for the Closing Ceremony…and any occasion where you would like strange tan lines.

She Said “Kanye x Giuseppe”

It’s official, my lovelies. Everything Kanye West touches (besides someone else’s microphone, perhaps) turns to gold.

Take a look at exhibit A: Kanye West’s beaded sandals for Giuseppe Zanotti. Shoes so hot that they manage to take attention away from Chanel Iman (see below). With leather soles, a suede 4.5-inch heel, and 100% creamy calfskin, these designer shoes aren’t the kind to find themselves on a sale rack. Wow.

She Said Zakia

As a bride, white shoes may look beautiful, but they aren’t especially practical to wear post-wedding.

A safer option? Something blush-coloured and fabulous like these “Zakia” d’Orsay pumps from Badgley Mischka. For that feminine feel, they have a beautiful tulle-wrapped heel and a tonal tulle bow, to boot. The ankle strap is also removable, in case you wished to wear them two ways.

She Said “Baker”

Señor Michael Antonio created these magnificent red soft-fabric boots.

The colour is unbelievably striking and will take anything from your skinny jeans to your black mini skirt up to a whole different level of wonderful. The slouchy look of the shaft adds a bit of flare while the giant buckle polishes the look. A stiletto heel makes these boots a fabulous girls night out shoe. The heel measures 4.5 inches, and a full side zipper provides easy access on and off. If red isn’t your cup of tea, these darling boots also come in neutral black making them more versatile. These boots are too hot to pass up.

She Said “Tweed”

Unlike my lovely counterpart, Lela, I have no aversion to a darling ballet flat (even with my short stature).

This Red Valentino tweed pump has the best of both worlds! The shoe appears as if it should be a ballet flat with the emerald patent bow. However, there is a 4.5-inch heel attached! Tweed is a favourite fabric for fall, so dress your polished toes in these heels for a fabulous autumn look. What makes the forest green tweed wonderful, for me, is it works as a pop of color or presents itself as a neutral piece. Absolutely perfect for the ladylike ensembles I tend to gravitate towards.

[Lela note: Always, always better as a pump, Miss Delfine! ;D]

She Said “Brogue”

At first glance Acne‘s Spin Lace Up Brogue Wedges appalled me. As I continued to glare at my screen, I realized that these wedges are quite fabulous.

My glaring turned to lusting. These tan leather, lace-up brogues have a concealed wedge heal (approximately 4.5 inches), contrasting brown stacked heel, and punched detailing to the upper. The Brogues are charming enough for any lady, but still mannish enough to pull off any androgynous look. Anyone looking down at the wedges will see a pretty Oxford, but at further glance (to the side) the shoe shows it has so much more to offer.
